Project Description:
The Tavern concept was a rebranding service to create a true authentic old-world tavern to replace the current bar and lobby space that was being underutilized. The design organized the tavern into three (3) spaces – The Dining Room, The Bar, and The Living Room. Each space was designed for a specific use but needed to be considered as a complementary highlight to the overall Tavern design. The Dining Room was organized with tabletop seating and a large memorable banquette for an intimate dining experience. The Bar was established as the main focal point placed in the center to draw patrons in upon entering the cinema. The bar design incorporates a large mercury glass mirror behind a brass beer tap system and flanked by heavy wood trim cabinets and trim reminiscent of old pubs. The Living Room is the other main focal point with a brick fireplace, large plush soft seating, and portraits of local celebrities.
